Wayfinder / Working with feedback

A place to work through your response.

Bring a specific situation, your part in it and the question you have not yet answered. Wayfinder can help you explore a possible pattern and a next step to test with real people.

Start with the situation, not a label.

What did you hear? What felt difficult? What did you do next? A conversation can help you distinguish what you know from what you are assuming about somebody else.

The point is not to get a coach to declare you right. It is to find a question or a practical change you can take back into the working day.

An IB in the coaching role.

We call Wayfinder an instantaneous being, or IB: a model brought into a defined coaching role, with the hero’s-journey approach and relevant retained context available to it.

It can offer an interpretation you disagree with. Correct it. It does not directly observe your team, know another person’s intentions or independently prove that your leadership has improved. The technology page explains the role and memory more fully.

Review the offer before continuing.

The original feedback-coaching invitation leads to the tenminuteplan introduction. The B offer page shows whether that introduction is available and what its current terms are; this page does not quote a fallback price.

A session is not a promise of one discovered pattern, measured growth or a particular outcome. Omit confidential details about colleagues and clients. Reading this page does not book a call or begin billing.

Choose what helps.

Keep the context in view.
